Full sun, but can tolerate light shade.

This very tough late summer through fall blooming perennial has become a worldwide favorite for both its beauty and ease of maintenance. The flowers begin showing a broccoli green color during summer. As the summer progresses, the flowers become pinker until they turn a beautiful russet tone by fall. The seed heads can be left on the plants for winter color. They add attractive texture in a snow-covered garden.
Grown and shipped in 4-1/2″ perennial pots. Fully vernalized, these 1-2 year old plants will put on a real show in your landscape the same year planted.
Take advantage of off-season sale prices on these rugged perennials! These are much less costly to pack and ship when dormant. Either place on a windowsill to start growing and plant out when spring arrives, or keep in a cold place until ready to plant. Outdoors on the north side of a building will be fine. Freezing will not harm these tough perennial Sedums!
