The tiny leaves create a dense evergreen carpet, becoming bronze-to-gold in winter. Very tiny green flowers. May need some periodic watering during periods of extreme drought. Often used as base fillers in beds and also used in formal carpet bedding schemes. Growth rate is moderate and is not invasive. Also known as Rupturewort.
