This fragrant, creeping plant has broad, dark green leaves and in June, produces heads of rose-purple flowers.  A larger creeping type with a height of 4-8″ and highly fragrant if walked on.   Withstands light foot traffic. Also known as “walk-on-me” thyme.  Zones 4b (with protection)-10  Creeping varieties may seem tall in a plug flat since they have no where to go but on top of each other!
