Festuca ovina ‘Boulder Blue’
Intensely blue and slightly more compact with a tighter habit than Elijah Blue.
Low tufted grass with many stems and fine bluish-silver leaves. They are very drought hardy and are great in clumps in borders, containers, and rock gardens. A great looking non-invasive grass.
Clumps should be divided every three to four years to maintain appearance.
Space 6-9″ apart and mulch to prevent weeds.
Similar to Green Festuca. They look great together with their contrasting colors.
Best in full sun. Drought tolerant. Deer resistant. Evergreen.
