Rounded shape with horizontal branching growing to about 20 feet at maturity.
Large, pointed, white to pinkish bracts produced three weeks after our native flowering dogwood. Fruits medium, reddish pink, raspberry-like, very attractive to birds. Foliage scarlet in fall. Culture and uses same as our native flowering dogwood.

Excellent used as specimens, masses or naturalized under large trees. Prefers deep, moist but well-drained soil. Avoid deep planting and a hot, dry exposure.  Not reliably hardy Zone 4a.

Zones 4b-8

Container grown, shipped bare to semi-bare root depending on season.  Spring and Fall planting is best
