Trailing in habit, this is a good addition to the rock garden, as a border in hot, dry areas, groundcover, and in containers. Mature foliage has a purple hue that overcasts the dusty, blue for a nice contrast. Good color even when not in bloom.
Feverfew is an herb. The leaves are used by herbalists to make medicine. It is also a very ornamental perennial.
Feverfew has many uses, including preventing migraine headaches in some people.
Feverfew is also said to be effective for fever, irregular menstrual periods, arthritis, a skin disorder called psoriasis, allergies, asthma, ringing in the ears (tinnitus), dizziness, and nausea and vomiting.
Some people use feverfew for difficulty getting pregnant or fathering a child (infertility). It is also used for “tired blood” (anemia), cancer, common cold, earache, liver disease, prevention of miscarriage, muscular tension, bone disorders, swollen feet, diarrhea, upset stomach and intestinal gas. Feverfew is sometimes applied directly to the gums for toothaches or to the skin to kill germs.
This very tough late summer through fall blooming perennial has become a worldwide favorite for both its beauty and ease of maintenance. The flowers begin showing a broccoli green color during summer. As the summer progresses, the flowers become pinker until they turn a beautiful russet tone by fall.

Growing Tips
Fast growing plants spread by underground stems to create a great groundcover. Divide clumps when plantings get over crowded. Remove spent flowers, shears or even mowing on a high setting can quickly take care of the old flowers.
Spiky yellow foliage! Makes an excellent ground cover (NOT for foot traffic) and is very fast growing. Good for container accents, too!

This fast growing vigorous groundcover is covered with deep blue flowers produced on eight-inch spikes. Blueberry Muffin is a faster, stronger grower than other Ajugas, with thicker leaves that are more weather resistant. When in full flower, large clumps of this plant can produce a striking display. Developed by Terra Nova, this Ajuga is faster growing and more vigorous than other small leaved varieties.
